Designed by Angelina Barks, Bluemel Finn and Severin Arnold, the 63 Degree Bench is a clever mix of foldable straps and plywood parts. Curiously, in its folded state the bench is actually smaller than the area of the actual seating surface, giving it a one up in transporting and storing.
If you’ve never considered having a bench in your space, you’re giving up the advantages of having interchangeable seating arrangements (benches can be used at your front door, or even at your dining table), while allowing it to be sturdy, take up minimal area and have a rustic appeal. The only knock against having this bench is its rigid form, which often takes the form of a heavy wood block that takes two to move around. And for that, 63 Degrees has a real gem on its’ hands.
