Just in time for beach season, Australian design collective Numen/For Use developed the X-Z chair to balance the need for shade with the need for a respite from the sand. Of course, sand getting into everything has been a problem for quite a while, but the X-Z Chair adds an element of organization to your sunblock/magazine/sunglass storage issues via a strategically placed series of pockets just below the seat.
We've all done it–come home late after partying and just toss our clothes on a chair to be put away in the morning. Now, the chair is gone and that remains is the frame. Toss it away my friends.
